Bangalore: MindTree, an information technology (IT) solutions company has named Subroto Bagchi as the Vice-Chairman of the Company by the Board of Directors. As Vice-Chairman of MindTree, Bagchi will lead the efforts in co-innovation in collaboration with its customers. He will also be the Chairman of MindTree's Innovation Council. Bagchi will continue in his current role of Gardener, where he helps shape future leaders of the company. Prior to his role as Gardener, Bagchi was MindTree's Chief Operating Officer, where he was instrumental in developing MindTree's people practices, setting up a Knowledge Management system and driving the marketing function. "Bagchi played key role in bringing together the 10 co-founders of MindTree in 1999. During the last 10 years, he has immensely contributed towards shaping the foundation of MindTree. He was instrumental in setting up the physical, intellectual and emotional infrastructure that is based on MindTree's value system called Class," said Ashok Soota, Executive Chairman, MindTree. "We look forward to his extended leadership in creating a differentiation that uniquely touches our people, customers, partners and society."
