Microsoft India the 'Most Attractive Employer' in the Country for 2012
According to the reports, 35 percent of the respondents were of the opinion that financial stability of the company was the most important factor they would prefer while serving a company, next came the long term stability with 15 percent.
These influencing factors also varied among gender, age, education as well as the marital status. As of the survey, men were likely to prefer innovative companies which were financially healthy and offered good quality products and services, men also aimed on companies which gave them good training facilities to succeed in their career prospects. If these factors were essential for men, for women the key factors were totally different as they preferred easy accessibility, flexibility in work arrangements, they needed a pleasant working atmosphere and interesting job content.
When it came to the older workforce and the younger respondents, older employees preferred to have much concern over the strong management, value and image of the company were also more important to the older employees than the younger employees, producing good quality products and work atmosphere were of much concern to them. Among the younger employees, they looked for more technological innovativeness, good training, flexible working arrangements and global career opportunities.
