McAfee appoints Michael Sentonas as CTO for Asia Pacific

Bangalore: McAfee has announced the promotion of Michael Sentonas to the position of Vice President and Chief Technology Officer for Asia Pacific region. He will work with leaders from the Americas and EMEA within the McAfee Office to advance the company's relationships with customers and partners in order to support each region's business and regulatory requirements.
"Michael is an experienced technologist and has the expertise to guide McAfee, our partners and our customers as we continue to innovate in our battle to fight cybercrime and overcome cybersecurity challenges," said McAfee Worldwide Chief Technology Officer George Kurtz. "Michael's knowledge of the IT security market is extensive and with his leadership we will strengthen our position as the worlds largest dedicated security company."
Sentonas joined McAfee in 1999 and has over fifteen years experience in the IT industry, focusing on Internet security. His past roles include sales engineering and services, software development, security consulting and management. "Through my role as Asia Pacific CTO our customers and partners will be able to collaborate directly with the Office of the CTO and stay ahead in the war against cybercrime," said Sentonas.
Sentonas is a regular speaker on security issues at industry events and executive roundtables across the Asia Pacific region. He has been regularly featured as a security expert and contributes regularly to trade and business publications.
