NEW DELHI: Majority of working women are satisfied with their professional life despite putting in long hours in office, commuting long distances to reach work place and managing home as well, a survey said.

Around 61 per cent women spends 8-10 hours at their work place and travel 30 km to reach office, a survey said, adding that in spite of the long hours spent at work and the long travel distance, a positive trend in work satisfaction was seen among women.

"About 68 per cent of the women participants stated that they were either completely satisfied or somewhat satisfied with their work," the survey by PHD Chamber said.

According to the study, around 80 per cent women reported that they devote 2-4 hours in household work and 53 per cent said that they have domestic help.
