New Delhi: Mahindra Satyam, the new brand identity of IT service provider Satyam Computer Services said it has appointed Roger van Lier as Business Development Executive (BDE) for the Benelux region. Benelux is an economic union in Western Europe that comprises Belgium, Netherlands and Luxembourg. Lier, in his new role, will be responsible for driving customer relationships in the manufacturing sector, Mahindra Satyam said in a statement. In his previous assignment, he was working with Intenzz Group, a SAP consultancy company as their Sales Director. He has also been associated with Capgemini and Atos Origin. "The appointment of Roger van Lier underlines our commitment to this region, where we already serve major clients. Lier will contribute to our growth in Benelux, which we see as an important market for Mahindra Satyam, and will support our existing customers by leveraging our world class services and consulting," Mahindra Satyam Managing Director Sandy David said. Mahindra Satyam's office relocated to Rijswijk, Netherlands and will be the main office at Benelux. The company already has offices in Eindhoven and Brussels, the statement said.
