Madhav Joshi elected as the President of AUSPI

Bangalore: Madhav J. Joshi, President, Legal and Regulatory, Tata Teleservices, has been elected as the new President of the Association of Unified Telecom Service Providers of India (AUSPI). Joshi takes over this position from B.B. Anand, President, Reliance Communications.
According to the release, "For AUSPI, the previous year was the most challenging and rewarding period. During the period, our members launched GSM services as dual technology and the mobile sector has reached new heights with AUSPI member service providers adding more than five million subscribers in a month and the total number of subscribers set to cross 500 million mark."
