Low-Rank Govt Jobs, Soon to be Rid of Interviews
BANGALORE: The I-Day promise made by PM Narendra Modi has stirred the department of personnel and training to look into the required government post that is assigned with the needed requirement for an interview, reports TOI.
Sources cited that the movement is ready to put this into action at the earliest and while the policy is expected to cover group ‘C’ and ‘B’ posts, it is likely to begin with Group `D' posts. The proposal for the interview in the hiring round is designed to eliminate the chances of corruption in government jobs.
Furthermore, the action is expected to speed up the process of hiring. Nonetheless, the government is eager to build a fool-proof system that is free from the wrong hands in the future. Modi’s I-Day speech had requested all government departments to put an end to their procedure of interviews and bring out the recruiting via transparent online process. Stepping into power the previous year has urged the government to move towards more streamlined processes in order to simplify them and guarantee their transparency.
