Lido Learning Insists on the Importance of e-Learning During Coronavirus Chaos
Across India, the month of March-April is deemed as exam season and Lido Learning, the learning platform urges students to opt for online tutorials as schools are being shut down due to the Coronavirus outbreak. The ed-tech platform extended its trial period from seven to fourteen days to support the students during this tough period.
With over one lakh confirmed cases across the globe, the schools in 13 countries have closed according to UNESCO. Officials are now considering cancelling Olympics 2020, which was supposed to happen in the mid of 2020 in Japan. Hence, the epidemic is a global problem that calls for a global response.
Sahil Sheth, Founder & CEO, Lido Learning, comments, “The recent measures are taken by the Delhi government to shut down schools has put a stop to children and parents’ lives as well. However, a child’s education need not be jeopardized in the process, as online tutoring platforms like Lido provide immersive learning experiences with online tutors that students can interact with from the comfort and safety of their home. It’s a no-brainer solution that not only helps students learn effectively but also helps take the pressure off parents for home-schooling their children in the process. To cope with this hostile situation we have extended our free trial period to 14 days to accommodate students in the best way possible”.
Founded in 2019, Lido got much traction in North India and is expanding rapidly to the rest of the country by engaging content and highly skilled teachers and mentors. Lido is now expected to improve the K-12 ed-tech industry via a massive improvement in quality while being affordable to everyday India.
