Bangalore: As many desire to become a lead in their company in a particular department, it has been proved now that there is nothing wrong in dreaming big to work hard to become a leader at the workplace. A recent survey done by JobBuzz, a career research platform of TimesJobs.com has proved that leadership skills are a very vital thing to succeed at the workplace.

The survey was conducted among employees to decide about the key skills required to have a successful career in any organization, as reported on The Economic Times. The survey included 30,800 respondents of 2,500 different companies that are established in India.

Initiative skillfulness was decided as the second most crucial skill by over 20,000 professionals in the curvey conducted by JobBuzz. The third important skill was the relationship management voted by around 19,000 employees. Leadership skills became the top priority among the employees coming from IT and Telecom, ITeS or BPO and BFSI background.

As per the survey, BFSI, Sales and Business Development, and Engineering are the three top professions where all the above mentioned top three skills are in high demand to be successful at workplace.
