New York: KKR & Co., a private-equity firm run by Henry Kravis and George Roberts, has appointed Arun Sarin, the former Chief Executive Officer of telecommunications services provider Vodafone, as the Senior Advisor. Previously, he had also been a Senior Advisor to KKR. Kravis and Roberts said, "We are delighted to welcome Arun Sarin back to the firm as a Senior Advisor. From our past close partnerships with Arun - starting when he became CEO of Accel-KKR Telecom almost a decade ago, we know first-hand of Arun's deep knowledge, global relationships, and diversified career. On the appointment, Sarin said, "I am very pleased to have this opportunity to work with the KKR team once again.
