Kartik Shahani appointed as RSA Regional Leader for India, SAARC

Bangalore: RSA, a Security Division of EMC announced the appointment of Kartik Shahani as the RSA Regional Leader for India and SAARC spell out. Shahani, based in Mumbai, will be responsible for leading RSA's business operations in the region and growing sales of the company's offerings in the area of security solutions for business acceleration.
Shahani comes to RSA held senior positions with McAfee India Sales and Netmagic. At both the companies, he was instrumental in the complete turnaround of their operations. The newly appointed regional leader also played a key role in setting up the High End Production Systems group at Xerox India and has worked in various capacities from a Programmer, Field Engineer, Enterprise Sales Manager to grow to the position of a Regional Leader during his distinguished career.
Commenting on the appointment, Geoff Haydon, Vice President, Asia Pacific and Japan, RSA, The Security Division of EMC, said, "India is one of RSA's most strategic markets. With a veteran like Shahani at the helm, I believe that RSA will be able to accelerate and further consolidate its leadership position in the Indian market."
Shahani holds an Engineering Degree from the University of Bombay and an MBA from the University of New England, Australia. He said, "The opportunity with RSA, is an exciting one in a growth market. I look forward to building on the growth base already in place and accelerating it to new levels."
