The title ‘Product Manager’ takes on several meanings, depending on the company and the type of the sector. In some cases, the job requires simple evaluation, and in others, resource management and scheduling are involved.
Product managers reported a high level of discontent with their job and exclaimed that their growth was very restricted. They even added that the work was very boring and involved lot of clerical work, which was rare with other high level positions.
2. Director of Sales and Marketing
These professionals are responsible for planning and implementing efforts to promote products of the company and in turn generate business. In addition, they perform activities such as employee training, budget management and public relations.
Director of sales and marketing reported the second highest level of job disappointment among all the respondents. The majority of these directors reported negatively, and referred to the lack of growth opportunities and direction from the upper management, as the main reason for their displeasure.

According to Vancouver Sun, IT directors are the most dissatisfied professionals on the planet. Despite having utmost influence over the fate of the company as a chief executive and earning a handsome salary, information technology directors have reported the highest level of displeasure with their job. They referred to insolence, cronyism and partiality at their workplace as the major reasons for their discontent.
