Jobs To Favor Entry Level Candidates In July-Sept: Data

BANGALORE: According to data from TimesJobs.com recruitment index RecruiteX, the job recruitment trend since 2011 has been pouring down on entry-level candidates, during the monsoon season and is likely to continue till July-September quarter. The data further disclosed that since 2011, the requirement for freshers with little or no experience registered a considerable growth of 6 pct on average between July and September, reports ET.

The sector holding the drive in entry-level demand between these three months comes from the side of IT, telecom, healthcare and hospitality sectors, with a noticeable rise of 3pct on average since 2011. Hiring is also expected to bloom for e-commerce giants during this period.

Metros affirmed the highest average increase in demand for new talents between July and September. The requirement for entry-level candidates in metro cities like Delhi-NCR, Bangalore and Mumbai has grown together, on an average of 4pct during July and September between March 2011 and March 2015.

 Moreover, as per the data from RecruiteX, the requirement for fresh candidates was on a high in 2014 while on the other hand several other experienced categories  had their fair share of ups and downs since 2011. From 2011-2012, candidates with over 20 years of experience testified to having experienced fall in demand between July and September. From 2013 onwards the demand was seen to be steadily improving across all experienced categories.

Analysis of RecruiteX, year-on year data further reveals that although the monsoon season holds a requirement for entry-level talent, winter months of January and February is promising for senior professionals. The largest recruiters for senior professionals during these months come from telecom, information technology, manufacturing and healthcare sectors.
