IT Hiring To Rise By 12 Percent In 2015
BENGALURU: In a bid to wow hiring, the engineering students can expect a better hiring and thanks to the IT companies. As Indian IT players want to focus only on the skills rather on the scale, this means one can expect more growth to come from digital technologies like analytics, mobility, clouds and social media, reports Economic Times.
TATA Consultancy Services, one of the top IT Companies hired 25,000 students from the campus recruitment in FY15 and is about to hire 35,000 students in FY16. Its close rival HCL Technologies also announced that there may be hike in the percentage of hiring candidates. Alka Dhingra of Teamlease said, “compared to 2014 hiring rate will grow 10 to 12 percent”. BPOs like Genpact, EXL Services, Convergys and Aegis will also give tough competition to the IT firms, as they are looking forward to raise their profile in engineering colleges. Going by the history, every year over 1 million students are achieving engineering degree. Not all of them are appointed primarily. So for those who are left should brush up their potentiality in order to get hired.

They to change the revenue model from one driven by selling just labour to one selling products and expertise weaved into those services.”
Apart from technology skills IT companies are also planning to train their employees in languages, which they can adjust at their offshore workplace such as Europe japan and Latin America, where French, German, Japanese, Spanish and portugese hold great grip. Vishaal Sikka, CEO of Infosys said, “We believe that long term growth has to come from a renovation of our work force through the education of our workforce in new areas and re-skilling.
