Psychopaths tend to be terrible at managing and they are not team players. But their charm helps them climb the corporate ladder. The study found that nearly four percent of bosses fitted the profile, compared with one percent among the general population. But the shocking fact of the finding was the fact that these were all individuals who were at the top of an organization, vice-presidents, directors and CEOs. But some favorable environmental factors like a happy childhood or a healthy upbringing can prevent their psychopathic tendencies and they can function in a workplace rather than channeling their energies in more violent or destructive ways.
