So, how effective is the online education in Indian higher education?

Karthik KS, CEO of AVAGMAH Online School, told that it is very effective in the Indian higher education and it’s playing a very important role in imparting higher education to working professionals and individuals who wish to pursue higher education. Online learning can be very helpful in a country like India because many of the people lack higher education due to inaccessibility to quality education because of the non-availability of colleges in respective towns and cities.

He also added that, at present there are close to 4.5 million Indians undergoing distance education, as compared to 1.4 million who go to regular colleges. Online education industry in India is still in the early stages and it is finding acceptance into the mainstream lately.
