Infosys to hire 25,000 employees
Bangalore: India's second largest IT giant Infosys Tecnologies, is planning to expand its Pocharam campus, situated at Hyderabad on the 448-acre special economic zone campus on the Warangal highway. The company is planning to recruit over 25,000 employees in total. The recruiting process will be divided in two phases (14,000 in Phase-I and 11,000 in Phase-II). Already 4,000 employees of Infosys are working at this campus; about 15,000 employees worked in Infosys' facility at Gachibowli here. A delegation led by Infosys chief executive officer and managing director S Gopalakrishan (Kris) called on Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy and suggested him the company's development plans at Pocharam in Hyderabad. The chief of the company Infosys Tecnologies, also informed the chief minister that the company had crossed IT exports of $1 billion from its Hyderabad campuses, in a government press release.
