Impetus Technologies appoints new top officials

New Delhi: Impetus has announced the appointment of two new top officials - Naveen Coomar as its new Vice President of Human Resources and Harish Nayak as the Chief Marketing Officer. Coomar will be based out of Impetus' development centre in Noida and Nayak will be working out of Impetus' headquarter at San Jose, USA. Both of these new executives bring with them more than 20 years of significant international corporate exposure.
Coomar's responsibility includes over-all management of all HR functions. His role includes developing the Corporate and HR strategy for the company, and ensuring implementation of more employee friendly policies, practices, and processes etc. He will also oversee and enhance the thrust on recruitment efforts in campus and industry hiring. Nayak will be responsible for evolving the Impetus message, brand identity, outreach to the market place and perform the important role to increase the velocity of inbound interest and leads to the company.

An alumni of the University of Leeds and IIM-A, Coomar brings with him his experience and a phenomenal understanding of the human resources function. A visiting faculty to some of the premier business schools, Coomar has worked on key assignments across the globe including USA, Australia, UK, and Malaysia. He is also a certified international trainer for Leadership and Team Building. Interspersed with his academic interests were various levels of HR roles at SAIL, IEC Softwares, Group4 Securitas and AgreeYa Solutions. Before joining Impetus, Coomar was running SCAN Consulting Network as the CEO.
Nayak secured his B.E degree from Manipal Institute of Technology, MS degree in Computer Engineering from Oregon State University and MBA from Wharton School/University Pennsylvania. He brings with him 20 years of engineering and marketing experience with Intel, Maranti Networks (Co-founder), and Flextronics Software Systems/Aricent.
