At IIM Lucknow, approximately 50 percent of grads out of a batch of 430 are participating in the laterals, also called as HEPP (Higher Entry Placement Process) at the institute. In addition to regular recruiters, about 20 percent of the companies in HEPP are first time recruiters. And most of the recruiters at this B-school are from sectors such as IT, e-commerce, real estate, FMCG and pharmaceuticals.

At IIM Indore, around 120 grads out of 450-strong batch are eligible for lateral placements. Around 30 companies are expected at this B-school this year, which includes first timers such as Ranbaxy and Cipla. And as per the IIM Indore’s placement officer, sectors such as pharmaceuticals, healthcare and IT are leading the charge and the offered salaries are 10 – 15 percent higher than last year.

At IIM Rohtak, around 55 – 60 percent of candidates from a total batch size of 125 can sit for laterals. About 17 – 22 companies are expected to participate in the lateral placements this year; many of them are first timers.
