In a recent study conducted at the Baylor University found that stress and tension caused by an abusive boss affects the marital relationship and subsequently the employee’s entire family. Stephanie Taylor Christensen from Forbes is of the opinion that supervisor abuse isn’t always as blatant as a screaming temper tantrum, it can also include taking personal anger out on you for no reason, dismissing your ideas in a meeting, being rude and critical of your work and offering no constructive way to improve your working capabilities.

The usage of Pronoun:
Always in a work place don’t expect your boss to be a mentor at every step of your progress. An actual boss is the one who makes opportunity for the employee to grow in their career and if a boss doesn’t think about the future career of the employee and keep on using the words “I” which means “he”, the interviewee must be well versed to know that the future boss’s way of thinking. If the boss chooses the word “I” to describe the department’s success, it indicates that he or she is only concerned about their designation. If the interviewer says “we” at the time of particular challenge the team or company faced, it may indicate that he or she deflects responsibility and places blame.
