How to find happiness in career

5.Commitment
An individual requires a sense of commitment towards his work in order to attain happiness in return. Happiness is not about what others think. We should do what we want and be what we want to be. In the end, that's what makes you a happy, successful person. The scoop on happiness in general is that it's a product of our inherited tendency to be happy, plus our circumstances plus factors that are under our control. The key to happiness at work is to use your so-called "signature strengths" on job, preferably every day. The truth is that the odds are overwhelming that an individual is an average, and the things that set them apart are negligible when it comes to research about career happiness. So one should start running their life according to what it works for the average person. Otherwise, the real barrier to your career happiness is you. To pursue happiness is ultimately to pursue an idea of identity. It is to pursue self-knowledge and with that knowledge to turn one's life into something positive. It is to accept what makes a person what they are and to act upon that acceptance. This is difficult, certainly; but the prize- true happiness - is worth the effort.
