As per the BLS, the employment opportunities for a grad with a software engineering are expected to grow at a faster rate than the average of all the other line of work. The rapid growth in the demand for computer software and other related components are the major driving force behind the demand for these grads.

The annual wage for a grad with a software engineering degree is approximately 1.53 lakhs to 6.46 lakhs. The projected job and pay growth is 24.6 percent and 60 percent respectively.

#1. Biomedical Engineering

Grads with a degree in biomedical engineering are trained to apply engineering principles and material technology to healthcare. 

As per the PayScale website, the average annual salary for a grad with a biomedical engineering degree is roughly in the range of 1.11 lakhs to 9.58 lakhs. The growth prospects of this line of work are projected to be around 61.7 percent, which is the highest in the list. And the growth in pay is estimated to be around 82 percent.
