Hiring in India Rise Up By 53pct in Nov: Survey

BENGALURU: With a country wide survey, Monster.com reveals new hiring trends now popping up among Indians.

The survey result reflects a 53pct rise in hiring rates since November 2014.

The sector bestowing maximum hiring is retail, followed by IT sector.

Sanjay Modi, managing director of Monster.com (India, Middle East, South East Asia and Hong Kong) states, "This is a reflection of increased positive business sentiment and faith on business potential from mid- to long-term perspective."  Modi adds, "Emerging sectors such as ecommerce (along with retail) have dominated the market with the right kind of enthusiasm." 
Online industry showed continuous growth on a month to month basis, till October 2015. In November this year, the same reflects a 1pct decrease in recruitment.

Among all designations, health care showed a 72pct rise on a year – to – year basis. This one is recorded to be the highest growth among all considered fields of work.

In the city count, Baroda leads the highest hub of hiring process and recruitment followed by Ahmedabad. Last year, this city contest was led by Mumbai.

According to the same survey, Delhi(up 24pct) and Hyderabad(up 54pct) also showed a rise in employment rates in this span.
