Harvard Tops, Indian Universities Fail To Secure A Spot
BANGALORE: The British Universities are racing ahead of many others close to leading the superior position according to new rankings from Times Higher Education (THE). However, U.S. has again nailed the leading spot with Harvard. UK’s Cambridge and Oxford universities made it to the second and third position respectively on the list of the world’s most reputed universities, reports Forbes.
Japan's University of Tokyo is the only Asian university to secure a rank in the top 20 while London and Paris got hold of the maximum rankings. U.S. has the upper hand over the rest with 8 spots among the first 10 and 43 on the entire list.
Amidst all these rankings, what’s more concerning is that India has fallen flat, not even making to a single position in the top 100.
The survey took in account 10,507 responses across 142 countries. Let’s have a look at the top 10.
