Results of Manpower Group’s eighth annual Talent Shortage Survey revealed that employers worldwide still continue to experience a lack of availability of skilled talent for certain positions, which is in turn having a negative impact on their performance.

Many of the market's hottest careers paths now don't require you to sit behind a desk all day. If you like to work with your hands and discover new solutions to a variety of problems, you're in for good career growth. And a career in the trade industry could be for you.
Skilled trades cover wide range of work and are considered as "blue collar." These jobs usually require a high school diploma and a relevant certification that takes about one or two years to complete. If you can spare some time to train and you're comfortable working with tools and your own hands, skilled trades would be the right option to opt.
