BENGALURU: The employment trend in the country has changed as per time and so; exactly the same phobia is sending turmoil to the current work force. As reported by ET, more than 35 percent knowledge workers are skeptic about future existence of their job.

The study was jointly conducted by the Way We Work Study commissioned by Unify, the Atos brand for communications, and collaboration software and services.

Jon Pritchard, CEO at Unify says, “Today, knowledge workers have an unrivalled freedom in how they connect and engage with each other. This has been provided to them, by and large, through technology. The study shows the significant impact that technology is currently having on the workplace. It's our belief that knowledge workers will increasingly want to define how, when and where they work. It's up to businesses to enable this behavior and manage further disruption and change."

Speedy change in work culture and the engrossment of digital technology over all the industries are believed to be reasons behind pervasive notion among non-optimistic employees, whose profession is knowledge based.

The survey was conducted among the 9,000 knowledge workers of the USA, UK and Germany pertaining to their present outlook and attitudes and prospect in their career lives.

The study also revealed that most of the surveyed candidates believe “virtual” could be future employment trend and 95 percent of knowledge workers were happy with good balance between their work and personal lives.
