Mumbai: Car-maker Nissan India on Monday appointed Sunil Rekhi as the Deputy Chief Financial Officer, roping him in from rival General Motors. Interestingly, in his previous assignment with GM, Rekhi's designation was the chief financial officer. At Nissan, he will be reporting to the CFO Richard Ito, an official release said in Mumbai. Rekhi will be overseeing taxation, customs, treasury and accounting besides controlling the finance operations management on a regular basis and will be based out of Nissan's Chennai facility, it said.
