First Jobs Of 7 Successful, Rich And Famous People

Richard Branson
Richard Charles Nicholas Branson, the English business magnate born in 1950, is best known for his Virgin Group of more than 400 companies.
The man who used to regularly fail tests in high school had to struggle hard in his early days as he and his best friend Nik Powell started breeding parakeets to sell as pets to their classmates. The birds started multiplying faster than they could sell them, so they then tried their hand in a different market.  At the age of sixteen his first business venture was a magazine called ‘Student’. In 1970, he set up a mail-order record business. In 1972, he opened a chain of record stores that include Virgin Records, later known as Virgin Megastores. Branson's Virgin brand grew rapidly during the 1980s, as he set up Virgin Atlantic and expanded the Virgin Records music label.
According to the Forbes 2012 list of billionaires, Branson is the sixth wealthiest citizen of the United Kingdom, with an estimated net worth of $4.6 billion.
