Ex-Googler Says Google+ has Ruined the Company
Earlier, Google had a policy where it allowed it’s Googlers 20 percent of their time to work on their personal projects like working on a new app or some other entrepreneurial work apart from their working on the routine Google project. It was an excellent opportunity given to its workers which also kept them excited throughout the day. ‘But suddenly this 20 percent meant half-assed’ wrote Whittaker on his official blog of Microsoft, as the policy of 20 percent time was taken away.
Before Whittaker, expressed the line of criticism about the company, there were many other ex-Googlers have complained that the start-up spirit of Google has been restored by a more mature but dull culture focused on the bottom line.
Whittaker said that it is too early to write on Google+, as the site is developing a reputation day by day. Google says that, at present around 90 million people have signed up to this new social network Google+, but according to some analysts, there are fairly few users across the world who have turned into this social networking site.
