Executive Programme Sees 25 Pct Top Salary In IIM-C
BENGALURU: Executives of IIM Calcutta’s one year residential academic programme witnessed a 24.8 pct increase in top salary compared to 33.7 lakh, a year ago.
Statement issued by the organization also cites a rise in the average salary of the eighth batch of executives up to 21.6 pct from 22.69 lac in 2014.
To a total batch of 44, 54 offers have been made by 55 companies this time. Jobs ranging between mid management to senior level positions have been given out to the candidates.
Companies that participated in placement process include Oracle, Microsoft, Accenture, Snapdeal, Dell, Google, Ford Motors (IT), CESC, Atos Consulting, Omni Active, Amazon, Micromax and, Deloitte Touche.
In the batch of 50, almost all bagged ten to twelve offers from top notch IT/consulting and IT products firms. All of them bagged almost eight offers from the e-commerce websites. Analytics, KPO, power, BPO and real estate too handed high number of job offers to this passing out bunch.
Rajiv Kumar, Chairperson, Career Development And Placement Officer of IIM Calcutta said, "The senior roles that the students of graduating batch have bagged convey the confidence industry has posed in the ability of PGPEX students of IIM Calcutta to contribute toward organizational growth."
PGPEX students get opportunity to be in Europe/USA to study the international economies, network and visit notable companies. They are accredited to AACSB and AMBA.
