Bangalore: Eka Software Solutions, a provider of commodity trading and risk management software, has announced the appointment of Amit Sureka as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Sureka will be responsible for Eka's global financial activities including budgeting, analysis, reporting, regulatory compliances and mergers and acquisitions (M&A). Prior to joining Eka, Sureka was the Group CFO of Jubilant Retail, a division of the $2 billion Jubilant Group. He was also the CFO and Director of MphasiS BPO (MsourcE), where as a key member of the leadership team, he helped grow the organization and successfully structured the merger with EDS. He also served as Vice President at Union Bank of California (USA). Sureka started his career with KPMG, where he worked in different capacities in the Corporate Finance and Audit and Business Advisory team, and also worked on international listing assignments for KPMG's clients.
