Economic stimulus raises 3.6 Million jobs in U.S.
WASHINGTON: The USD 787 Billion economic stimulus programme of the Obama administration under the Recovery Act, 2009 has raised 3.6 million jobs and contributed 3.2 percent to the GDP in fourth quarter, the White House has said.
"The Recovery Act added as much as 3.2 percent to the level of fourth quarter GDP and raised employment by as many as 3.6 Million jobs," the Council of Economic Advisory (CEA) said in its report on the economic stimulus.
