Another major disadvantage of working in this sector is that, you get very less time to enjoy your personal life as it all depends upon the shift you work. This might also create problems between the personal relations.

Many who have been working in the BPO sector have complaint about the leave policies as many BPO firms don’t have proper leave policies. Many have also complained that they don’t have any proper sick leave policy as because of that they need to plan to fall sick. Some have complained that their sick leaves are considered as unpaid leaves. Taking leaves in this profession has become hardly an option as it is very difficult to take one.

Recently IT magazine, Dataquest had released a report which said many employees work up to 11 to 12 hours if their firms encouraged employees working overtime. It also reported that in this sector the operational heads faced even more difficulty as they were asked to work for more than 17 to 18 hours each day.
