BENGALURU: A diverse workforce provides diverse knowledge, talent, and experience that may help the company grow in many ways. The diversity in our thoughts leads to innovation and change which improves business and society. An organization should give both male and female workers equal chance and opportunity.

The ‘fair sex’ is considered as very important when it comes to economic contribution. Women cover almost 70 to 80 percent of the consumer population who either buy things directly or on behalf of others. Feminine hobbies and needs sometimes prove to be of great help to the businesses like Retail, Apparel, Beauty and other products.

So, in order to cater to the variety of clients needs, these businesses should observe and learn some lessons from its diverse office culture. Diversity in the office can really be useful in order to acquire better results to serve diverse clients, reports Business Insider.

A survey by HR consulting firm DDI and the Conference Board suggests that among 20 percent of the financially well performing companies, almost 27 percent of leaders are women. Research shows that the companies with women at leadership show much stronger financial outcomes.

According to WEF, only 117 million are working women among the net workforce of 478 million people. This stands as only the 24 percent of the entire work force. Women, most often are not offered with the value they actually deserve, so, in order to meet the demand of talent, companies should explore the wide range of untapped woman talent pool.
