New Delhi: Dish TV India has named R.C. Venkateish as its new Chief Executive Officer. Prior to this, Venkateish served as the Managing Director of ESPN Star Sports, India and South Asia region. He looked after the business operations of the company in these markets. Coming in with a working experience of 27 years, Venkateish has in the past worked with onternational brands as Smithkline Beecham, Nestle India, Gillette and Kellogg India. Jawahar Goel, Managing Director, Dish TV India, said on the appointment, "Venkateish has had an excellent track record while heading leading brands, his experience gives him a well-seasoned perspective which perfectly complements Dish TV's needs as a rapidly growing company with the highest market share." After the resignation of Vinay Agarwal in March last year, the post of the DTH CEO has been vacant ever since.
