However, the only thing that will worry this from taking place is that, not many of these professionals are trained to understand the emerging medium and are constantly failing to catch up.

Rashmi Putcha, CEO, DMTI said, “While traditional media professionals with years of experience grappling to understand the vibrant medium, aspirants seeking jobs in this lucrative and booming industry are ill-equipped, due to the lack of organized and focused training.”

As digital media comprises various field that include marketing, consultancy, PR, content creation, social media, mobile, innovation or technology. The shift to digital platform is set to provide ample opportunities for aspirants seeking jobs in this lucrative and booming industry. “The wide range of skill sets and positions within Digital Media also makes it a promising field for job opportunities,” added Putcha.

With India’s online advertising market projected at over 2,983 crore at present. This is just 10 percent of the total ad spends. Furthermore print and other media are on the decline, the digital sector growth is on the rise with 31 percent growth, stated by the analysis.
