Bangalore: CIBER hires Oracle Executive Vivek K. Marla as its Senior Vice President in India at its Primary Global Delivery Center. Vivek, the former Oracle Vice President and Head of Oracle Solution Services in India (OSSI), holds 30 years of industry experience in IT field. His 20 years of career track in Oracle offered him different roles which were focused on driving transformational change, strategic focus, business development and talent management.

Replacing the Vice President Vir Bhanu who had led CIBER’s India operations since September, Vivek’s appointment will take effect from January 2. Vir Bhanu is assigned to lead CIBER’s domestic business. "At the same time, I want to thank Vir Bhanu, who has provided oversight of our India operations for the last several months, and has made this transition smooth and effective," added Peterschmidt. "Vir is a strong, decisive leader and he will continue to play a significant role in driving the continued success of our Global Services Centers in India."

Expanding Oracle’s Service Solutions in India from 250 to more than 1,300, Vivek could bring the company to the first-rated consulting organization today. He generated revenue of more than 300 percent in his last five year career and he widened the company’s marketing wings in 40 countries over Europe, U.S., and Asia continents.
