Your boss might be your boss every time, but take it as an advice, don’t follow him all the time. Although it is the executive presence which is considered to be more important than attractiveness, you need to have built an appropriate appearance if you are about to get promoted, than looking or appearing very dull. Take a deep look at how your manager dresses up every day, also check how your colleagues dress up. Make sure you dress up in such a way that you get an extra attention whenever it is demanded from your side.
