BSNL to recruit physically challenged people

New Delhi: State-run BSNL today said it has initiated a special recruitment drive for differently-abled persons for the post of Junior Telecom Officer (JTOs). Telecom PSU plans to fill up 213 vacancies in different streams like telecom, civil and electrical, BSNL said in a press statement. The recruitment would be through an open competitive examination. BSNL comprises of 27 recruitment circles and these circles are in the process of filling up of backlog vacancies reserved for PWD. Taking this initiative BSNL promotes itself as an "equal opportunity" employer, it said.
