These professionals are highly trained and carry out sophisticated procedures or handle complex medical equipments. They generally find employment in hospitals or independent laboratories. And after analyzing the results, these professionals join forces with physicians or laboratory directors and review the patient’s data.

Medical laboratory technicians might analyze samples of tissue, blood or body fluids and determine blood type, cell count, chemical content, or drug levels and may also search for specific harmful microbes such as virus, bacteria, parasites, and so on.
