Clark University’s commitment to community engagement has been certified by the Carnegie Foundation. Serving as a home to more than 20 community service-based student groups, the university also sponsors a Community Engagement and Internship Fair to connect students with local organizations, and facilitate volunteer or internship opportunities. An example of how Clark students collaborate with the local community through education, volunteering, and service is the University Park Partnership— an urban redevelopment effort between the campus and Worcester's Main South neighborhood.
