The transition from a mobile operator conquered ecosystem to handset makers’ platforms has guaranteed that the apps developers are getting an equal share of the income. When you compare to just the 30 percent income the app developers were getting earlier, they are getting 70 percent of the income at present which is much better than earlier.

Vishal Godal, CEO of UTV Indiagames, who is the makers of popular games like Ra.One and IPL, said that, earlier the app developers were at the mercy of the mobile operators, but now the time has changed as the mobile app developers have their own distribution channels through handset-makers. Adding he also said that, a wider mileage for an app has become much easier at present.
