Davanagere: Prof. S Manjappa, Head of Chemistry and Environmental Science and Technology study centre at BIET (Bapuji Institute of Engineering and Technology), has been selected for Rajarambapu Patil National Award instituted by Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE, New Delhi). The award will be given to 'promising engineering teacher for his creative work done in technical education (in college) for the year 2009'. The award, comprising cash, a medallion and a citation, will be conferred on him during the inaugural function of ISTE's 39th convention scheduled at NIT-K, Surathkal, on December 18.
