BANGALORE: If you are a job seeker on the lookout for sectors pertaining to retail(e-commerce )wholesale, utilities chiefly logistics and transportation, well then look no further, as the these sectors are predicted to hire extensively from the fourth quarter which is the end of December 2015.
As per the manpower Employment Outlook Survey, on a global scale, Indian employers are by far the most wanted in the hiring chart of the Q4. The survey also states over 41pct of employers in India are likely to hiring an increasing amount of people in the 4th quarter in comparison to the end September quarter, reports Business Insider.
The survey conducted comprised over 5,000 employers in India and has discovered that employers in the transportation & utilities sector and wholesale & retail sector (including e-Commerce) are eagerly looking forward to increase the requirements in the following quarter. Taking into account the regional perspective, approximately 42 pct eastern region employers will look forward for job seekers in the months. Furthermore, e-Commerce sector are set to increase their job opportunities. AG Rao, group managing director at ManpowerGroup India said, "With the onset of the festival season, there is a renewed focus on employing additional staff to boost businesses and greater hiring is expected across all domains."
In a positive approach for the economy, e-Commerce firms bring up their workforce in various departments mainly specialists who are technology driven and engineering sound companies.
Case in point, Shopclues.com, aims at hiring 1,200 employees to a team of 800, while on the other hand Snapdeal aims at doubling-up its headcount to 5,000 by FY16. On the other hand, some sectors are not too big on hiring in the fourth quarter for this year. The decline has been noticed in mining & construction sector employers with a nine percentage dip whereas the outlook have fallen by seven and four pct on the insurance, real estate sector, finance and services sector.
Nevertheless, in comparison to the Q4 outlook with that of the Q3 2015, the recruitment plan has been relatively steady in the mining & construction sector, real estate sector, insurance and finance areas.
French multinational, Saint Gobain, is also keen at bringing in more employees to its manufacturing and marketing teams. P Padmakumar, team leader & head -human resources, flat glass business said, "India is a very important market for Saint Gobain and in the coming months, we will hire for new positions in manufacturing and marketing." On a global reach the ManpowerGroup interviewed practically 59,000 employers around 42 countries and territories to estimate the activity of the fourth quarter labor market.
