Aruba Networks, Appoints New President

Mumbai: Aruba Networks, India's leading enterprise wireless networking company, announced the appointment of Dharmendra Kumar as President - India and SAARC, to drive Aruba's next stage of business growth in India. Dharmendra will report in to Gary Jackson, Vice President- Sales, Asia-Pacific/ Japan, Aruba Networks. "India is today one of Aruba's key global growth markets. Prior to Aruba, Dharmendra Kumar was the Regional Sales Director at EMC for two years, with key responsibility for the storage and backup businesses. His responsibilities included running the business, ensuring smooth coordination between the sales, pre-sales, channels and support functions to deliver topline results and maintain business health. In his career span of 22 years, he has also worked in diverse capacities across companies like Datacraft, Force10 Networks, D-Link, and Cisco. Significant career milestones include setting up Force10 Networks business in India, along with its channels and distribution network. He was responsible for Cisco bagging ones of it largest MPLS nations wide deployment with the incumbent Telco and later also established Cisco's government and defence vertical practice, growing it to over USD 35 million in just a year. Dharmendra has a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) degree in Computer Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Karnataka.
