Arthur Bergens promoted as COO of Centice

Bangalore: Prasant Potuluri co-founded Centice, which commercializes patented and patent-pending computational sensor technology, has promoted its Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Arthur Bergens for the new role of Chief Operating Officer.
Bergens joined Centice in January 2006 and will continue his role as the CFO. He has been responsible for the financial, operations, IT, human resources, manufacturing and administrative functions at the company, also playing a key role in the launch of company's PASS Rx system.
"Arthur has done a terrific job of managing all of the different aspects of the operations at Centice. This was a natural progression for him and we are pleased to give Arthur this promotion," said Scott Albert, Chairman of the Board and CEO, Centice.
Bergens has also held CFO and other financial leadership roles with semiconductor products and supply chain management companies including Amkor Technology, Unitive and Modus Media International. He also spent eight years with Ernst and Young.
