Are you a Smart Job Hopper?

3. Removing the skeletons from your job closet:
A job closet could be a mixture of jobs that you have done earlier. Mentioning all of them would end you up in a different whirl like: 1) It would be difficult to write your resumes as you have to explain too many jobs. 2) It will cause a lot of confusion for your employer and may end up rejecting you. 3) It will not give a clear picture of what you are really good at. You have to detour yourself from the different career paths to a single career path that you want to focus on and the job that you are applying for. Use a functional resume or hybrid resume format and present only your experience relevant to the job you seek. Alternatively, you can list jobs relating to the position you now seek first under "Relevant Work Experience" and cluster the non relevant jobs under "Other Work Experience."
