Anil Pandey named as Head of Telcordia India Labs

Bangalore: Telcordia Technologies India has named Anil Pandey as the Head - Telcordia India Labs (India R&D Center) in Chennai. Pandey will be responsible for product architecture, systems engineering, quality assurance, configuration, migration and support - with a focus on enabling operators throughout the Asia/Pacific region to differentiate themselves by delivering innovative, revenue generating services to their customers.
Pandey will oversee all of the company's software and services development for its Service Delivery Solutions (SDS) division in India. With more than 22 years of experience in the field of software technology and research, Pandey previously worked at Huawei Technologies as an Associate Vice President, Business Line Head Application and Software. Prior to Huawei, Pandey worked as a Senior Architect in embedded software with Philips Software Centre in Bangalore and a Senior Engineer in SCADA and process control at BHEL Industrial Systems.
"Anil's understanding of India's hyper-growth, hyper-competitive market and application development expertise are an ideal fit for driving forward our next-generation service delivery and revenue management solutions," said Anuj Kapur, Country Head, Service Delivery Solutions, Telcordia India. According to Kapur, a key part of Pandey's responsibilities will also include working with in-region partners to jointly design and implement mission-critical telecommunications applications that enable innovative service differentiation for mobile, fixed, cable and convergent networks.
"We look forward to continuing to develop advanced solutions that enable service providers in the region to difference their service, with mobile marketing and advertising, flexible bandwidth management policy control, next generation prepaid and converged revenue management," said Pandey. Pandey holds a B. Tech in Computer Science from the National Institute of Technology, Warangal.
