The oldest and biggest Engineering college of the state this is one of the engineering colleges that was established during the British reign in India. Located in Hyderabad, the college has post graduate courses like PHD programs and Masters program are also a part of the college academics. The college became autonomous in 1994. The library of this college is wortha mention for its different departments like Lending Section, Technical Section, SC/ST Book Bank, Stack Room, Students Reading Room, Journals Wing, Digital Library (e-Resources), Text Book Section/Reference Section and Learning Resource Centre.
