Management Aptitude Test (MAT)
Exam Time: First and second week of February, First and second week of May, First and second week of September, First and second week of December
Exam Criteria: 50pct aggregate marks in graduation from recognized colleges or universities
This standardized examination conducted to screen students for top most 600 B-schools was nationalized in 2003. One of the largest management entrance tests, MAT can be applied for in two ways – paper pen based or computer based. This MCQ based 2 hour 30 min exam can also be your ticket to several B-schools abroad. In MAT, the questions paper has 5 sections namely Language Comprehension, Data Analysis and Sufficiency, Mathematical Skills, Intelligence and Critical Reasoning and Indian and Global Environment.
Narsee Monjee Aptitude Test (NMAT)
Exam Time: One and half month window from first week of October to third week of December
Exam Criteria: 50pct aggregate marks in graduation from well known colleges or universities
A candidate has to answer 120 MCQs in order to qualify the exam. The question paper has three parts namely Quantitative Ability, Language Skills and Logical Reasoning. In order to pursue MBA in Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS) Mumbai, the shortlisted candidates undergo selection rounds of Case Discussions and Personal Interview. Retakes in the admission test are open for the students and in that case, the best of their scores are evaluated.
